SentrOxy PAT-Series

The new PAT solution of optical DO and pO2 measurement for R&D, process development, production and quality control. Based on the optical principle of fluorescence quenching SentrOxy oxygen sensors combine high measurement performance with low maintenance. All relevant parameters are stored GmP and 21 CFR part 11 compliant in the sensor. The sensors can be directly connected to a process control system by using the 4-20mA analog output or the digital RS485 interface with Modbus protocol without additional transmitter. Optionally Sentronic offers an USB adapter.

SentrOxy PAT probes

The main item of the probes are two separate optical sensors build into a 12mm shaft. Thereby SentrOxy PAT is the first optical sensor with dual measured values (Dual-MV) for real-time referencing (in accordance with SIL). The use of precise fibre optics allows separating the electronic part of the sensor from the sensor tip. Thereby the sensors can be used in samples with temperatures up to 135°C. 12mm probe shaft and PG13.5 thread makes the probes compatible to Clark Cells and allows positioning at the most suitable measurement points. Due to the robust design the probes can withstand harsh process conditions. The smooth surface makes them easy to clean. For measurement of gaseous oxygen the probe tip can be heated to avoid condensation.

Sensor Cap

The solid sensing element is free of fragile membranes, electrolyte and placed in a robust replaceable cap. The need to replace just a single part minimizes service time and cost. After a cap change the sensor is ready to use immediately without polarization. As the optical sensing principle does not consume any oxygen the measurement is flow independent. Furthermore it is not influenced by H2S ,CO2, SO2 and so on.
